WRITING

Part 1 Key: 1 expensive/ much/ dear/ as

2 was raining/ rainy/ wet (weather) 或者rained

3 so 4 whose 5 didn't/ did not

解析：改写的时候一定要注意句子的时态，所有的这些句子都是讲述的同一件事，本题都用的一般过去时。

1. 最常见的PET句子改写题，不能失分。这句考查反义改写，原句用cheaper than，改写句用not as expensive as来替换原句。有的同学比较粗心，没有看到not，改成cheap就错了。

2. 考查in spite of与even though的替换，前者后面接名词或动名词(短语)，后者后面接句子。

3. 考查强调句型：So do I/ Neither do I.比如You liked swimming. So did I.反过来，You didn't like swimming. Neither did I.

4. 直接引语和间接引语的改写，必考句型，必须掌握。这里考查的特殊疑问句，疑问词是whose(谁的)。

5. 考查反义改写，stayed= didn't leave。

Dear Luke,

Hi. I hope you're well. I am so glad to hear from you. It's nice to know that you go to the gym regularly. I believe it will make you fit. I can't wait to see the result of your exercise. Well, near my house there are four tennis courts which open every day at nine in the morning and close at ten in the evening. It costs ?10.00 for two hours. There is also a basketball court and two football fields but I have no idea how much the rent is. I heard that there is also a swimming pool being renovated at the moment right beside the tennis courts. On Saturdays, I play badminton with my cousin for about an hour, after that I get really tired. Sometimes I like to play football but unfortunately, most members of the teams are boys so it's enough for me to just watch them play. Perhaps I will go swimming as well when the pool is finished. Hope you will write again soon.

Last month, it was my mother's birthday. My brother, my dad and I prepared an amazing party with all her friends. It was hard to organize but we did it… Dad told me I was in charge of the present which was a new digital camera. I put it in my room, under my pillow, thought it was a safety place…

On the day, when my dad asked me to go and get the present, I couldn't find it! Mum was waiting, all her friends were too… They were all looking at me with this horrible look which means 'You've done something wrong'.

After a while, mum started laughing, we didn't understand why … she said: 'Is the present a digital camera?' My brother replied 'Yes, it is! How do you know?' She laughed more and more and declared that she found it in my room and she had started already to use it.

We were all laughing and smiling, glad about this revelation.

1. 不忘涂卡7还是8;

2. 句式多变词汇丰富;

3. 时态正确信息连贯;

4. 问题全答加连词;

5. 写完检查卷面整洁。
