1.在本节课中我首先播放了五年级上册部分歌谣学生说唱，复习有关动作单词。然后结合游戏play the dice，让他们通过游戏来预习本课的新知识，weekend，What do you do on the weekend? 的问答。引导学生用I often…回答。当学生的回答中涉及到单词cook the meals,sweep the floor等时，我适时的拿出相应的图片。

2.新授动词短语以小丸子一家为线索，小丸子周末经常和爸爸妈妈去看爷爷奶奶visit grandparents，然后奶奶带小丸子去超市购物go shopping，为了爬山准备午餐，又说到周末一家经常去爬山climb mountains,为什么姐姐不在呢?哦，原来姐姐经常要弹钢琴play the piano,周末姐姐除了弹钢琴当然还和朋友一起去远足go hiking.
