•Part Ⅰ Analysis of Teaching Material.

•      This is an important unit in Book Two. The main topic of this unit is decision making. In this   unit, students learn to talk about consequences,  conditional if + will and modal should, and read articles according to scanning and deducing methods

•This is the first period of this unit. It is closely related to our daily life and students’ dreams, hence this period is helpful to raise students’ learning interest and improve students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

•Part Ⅱ Analysis of Students.

•  The students have learned present progressive (be going to) and will as future tense for long, and have known the conditional adverbial clause if clause. They are able to understand some target languages easily and are interested in them.

•  As for learning attitude, some students take an active part in learning English. However, some others are in low spirit because they didn’t learn well before. So it is necessary to review the 「if clause」 before class.

•PartⅢ Teaching Aims and  Demands

•1.Target language 目标语言

•① Words and expressions重点词汇和短语

•jeans, organize, have a great time, go to the party, have a party •② Key sentences重点句子 •I am going to the party.

•If you do, you will have a great time.

•What will happen if they have the party today?

•2.Ability Goals

•Enable students to talk about consequences with conditional adverbial clause. •Enable students to give suggestions with consequences sentences.

• 3. Moral Objects.

•Look before you leap(Make students learn to think twice before they going to do sth) •Help each other and work together in our daily lives.

•PartⅣ Teaching Key and Difficult Points.

•   Key points: The vocabulary (jeans, organize, have a party, have a great time…) and

the conditional adverbial clause (if…will…)should be the key points of this period. •    Difficult points:

•How to grasp the conditional adverbial clause with if, especially its two tenses. • How to train the students’ communicative competence.

•Part Ⅴ Teaching Methods:

•  Teaching methods: In this Unit I will mostly use Pair-work method and the

communicative learning method and task-based method. •Learning method: The students mostly learn by listening and speaking, discussing, cooperative learning method.

•Solutions:①In the whole teaching procedure, I will lead and encourage students to think

more and speak more sentences with if…will…pattern .②I will let students do two pair-works , the first one is easier and then I will give them a summary about if…will…sentence, and finally there comes the second creative and a little difficult pair-work.③At the ending of this lesson, I will let them do a multiple choice to consolidate their grammar knowledge.

•Part Ⅵ:Teaching Aids: The Bb, multimedia

•Part Ⅷ: Teaching procedures.
