■Warming up

Good morning, everyone! We study Module 7 today. What day is it today? Can you tell me? Yes, it is Monday. What are your lessons today? Do you have maths, chemistry, or Chinese today? Which one of them do you like best? I like Chinese very much. I love English. I don’t like maths very much. Do you like maths? What do you have in this afternoon? Yes, in the afternoon, you have art and history. Now, let’s begin our new lesson!

■Vocabulary

1 Look at the pictures，listen and repeat the time.

There are four pictures here. Each one of them shows a different time. Please look at the pictures first. Try to say the time yourself. Now listen to the tape and repeat the time after it.

1 Read the text and put the pictures in order.

This text is about Alex’s school day. Alex tells us many things about his school day. When does he get up in the morning? When does he go to school? What is his school’s name? Read the text twice. 4 Rewrite the sentences in Activity 3 for you.

In Activity 3, there are six sentences about one’s school life. Now rewrite these sentences for yourself. When do you have breakfast? I have breakfast at 8:00 in the morning. 5 Work in pairs. Talk about your school day.
